It has been a privilege to serve our community as a local Councillor, Lord Mayor of Parramatta, and now as your State Member of Parliament. My priority is listening to our community.
I’ve lived locally for almost thirty years, raising our two sons with my husband Michael.
During my time on Council, I have provided strong support for community lead issues across the city. One of my key priorities as Lord Mayor was promoting Parramatta as a destination to live, work, study and visit – a priority I will continue to focus on as the State MP.
I'm passionate about ensuring everyone has access to what they need for a healthy and happy lifestyle including access to affordable housing, increased open space, cultural infrastructure and essential services.
I understand the issues impacting residents and businesses across the electorate and will strive to ensure the rapid growth of our community, as the most populous electorate in NSW, is supported by the best possible education, transport and health services.
I believe that Parramatta's success lies in harnessing its strongest assets - its people, location and rich history. I will fight to protect our past in our precious heritage sites whilst building our community’s future.
As your state member of Parliament, I am committed to continuing to advocate to get the best for Parramatta, working with Chris Minns and the NSW Labor government to deliver for our whole community.
