We're delivering a better future for Wentworth Point!
After a decade of delays and broken promises by the former Liberal Government, I am pleased to announce that work to build Peninsula Park is begining!
Wentworth Point residents have been waiting for this park for a decade. Despite promise after promise by the former Liberal Government, the park was never built.
That is why at the last State Election I committed to this long-awaited project, and I am thrilled the Minns Labor Government is delivering on this commitment.
Thank you for your support and tireless efforts throughout this community campaign.
Construction Underway for Peninsula Park!
Major earthworks are underway in Peninsula Park, as workers mobilise to demolish old concrete structures and lay the foundations for a vibrant new public space on Parramatta River.
Works include:
- A shared-use walkway to link the ferry wharf with Burroway Road
- New seawalls to minimise wave erosion
- A new road to provide access to the park
- Utilities for the park

Wentworth Point Public School Upgrades
We’re delivering on our commitment to build better schools for NSW.
After a decade of inaction by the previous Liberal National Government, we’re getting on with the job of upgrading Wentworth Point Public School!
As the State Member for Parramatta, I have fought for the following:
- 26 new classrooms with shared common areas in a NEW Block D
- Reconfiguring the existing library
- New support unit for students
- Removing the old demountables
There are community info sessions being held tomorrow. Come along to ask questions and discuss the project.
