Peninsula Park is continuing at pace with Landcom opening the anticipated tender for suitably qualified contractors to deliver the Peninsula Park. 

The opening of the tender brings the community one step closer to works starting in late September 2024 ahead of the opening in December 2025. 

The tender will seek proposals from suitably qualified contractors to deliver approximately 3.9 ha of open space with shared pathways and improved sea walls around the peninsula.

“I know how important the Peninsula Park is to Wentworth Point. It was promised for 10 years by the previous Liberal Government and was never delivered. 

“The Minns Labor Government is getting on with the job of honouring our commitment to give Wentworth Point the open space it rightly deserves”.
